I wanted to create a city in the pouring rain, with the buildings lighting up the sky with their lights and reflection in the river. The rich prussian blue was perfect for this along with golds and coppers.
Acrylic on stretched canvas, using a pouring paint technique that allows the paints to blend in a unique way, which I disturb using oils and movement to create unusual textures and patterns.
