An abstract approach to capturing the aerial view of blocks of ice floating amongst shallow and deep waters next to a frozen landscape, inspired by topographical maps.

Acrylic on stretched canvas, using a pouring paint technique that allows the paints to blend in a unique way, which I disturb using oils to create unusual textures and patterns.
