Part of the “Ice & Water” Series

Tumbling Wave - using ribbons of paint to feel movement and energy, within the vortex of a crashing wave. I allow the natural drying of the paint to provide extra texture to the painting.

Acrylic on stretched canvas, using a pouring paint technique that allows the pastel paints to blend in a unique way, which I disturb using oils to create unusual textures and patterns.
