Part of the “Earth” Series

Capturing the natural jewel like colours that can be found deep in the earth in veins of beauty, ready to be carved from the rock. I love the contrast of the magenta and green.

Acrylic on stretched canvas, using a pouring paint technique that allows the pastel paints to blend in a unique way, which I disturb using oils to create unusual textures and patterns.
